I remember that mac admitted that he had a scratch, which I assume came from when Colette attacked him.  Jacobson describes the four marks as being a few millimeters apart which would be too close for fingernail marks, even from a child.  Bunny brought up that she wondered if the fight between Colette and mac first started in the kitchen.  She could have attacked him with a fork.

I really do wonder if mac used a fork on himself to make it look like ice pick wounds.

Q  Now, as -- also above the nipple of the left chest, a series of dots and you've made a representation of a drawing there. Can you describe those?
A  That was a very interesting thing. I did not report that on my physical examination. I dn't know why, but it was a very interesting thing because it was a linear -- it was a line of kind of puncture marks, very small punctures about the size of the end of a lead pencil that had been used maybe two hours. And it was a linear fashioned -- it was diagonal toward the tip of the shoulder. And it was a track of them and they just seemed to go along in a line.
Q  This representation of the drawing, does that indicate the approximate size of those puncture marks that you observed

Q  No, I am talking about the shoulder area, or the pectoral area?
A  At the wound site there were four puncture type wounds or punctuate wounds along a tract, a linear track, and I believe it was in this direction, toward the apex of the shoulder. They were paced rather evenly about two to three millimeters apart. We did not probe these for depth and a -- we took their significance as minor after having seen the x-ray. We had no pneumothorax there; in fact they would probably not allow an air leak in themselves, a chest leak.
