I mean, really, does he think what he has written is true? Did he read enough of the evidence to have figured out his client is guilty? Did he read the governments past rebuttals of all the "evidence" that he has submitted? He is apparently expensive but I don't think he comes off as very smart.
I guess the best they can hope for is that by sheer luck that on of the unsourced hairs ends up matching someone who committed a crime. But, as one judge put it (don't remember who) all it would show is that mac has help in the murders since his pj top clearly placed him as fighting with Colette amd moving the bodies. IF one of the hairs matched someone, then they would have to prove that the person was involved with the crime, rather hard to do so many years later. And that would still not undo any of the evidence that showed mac was a liar and a killer.
You would think that high priced lawyers had something better to say.
